Co-founded Forkbeard with brother Tim in 1974. Chris has been a chief actor, performer and co-writer for every Forkbeard theatre show indoor or outdoors since. He is an artist, designer and maker, specializing in community engagement, outdoor interactives, film installations and sculptural machines. His specialized skills include leading workshops and courses, teaching and inspiring creativity in schools, universities and colleges and directing community arts projects ( he recently organized and directed the 450-strong processional spectacular for The Torch Relay in Exeter, going on to create Devon’s contribution to The Battle for the Winds spectacular at Weymouth’ Sailing Olympics).  He shares alongside all the members of Forkbeard a fascination for and deep love of nature, ecology and environmental issues which have featured in Forkbeard shows and exhibitions.
